What each size carries

Class 5 stranded copper conductor resistance per IEC 60228; current capacity per BS 7671, method C (clipped direct), 30°C ambient, two loaded conductors, PVC reference. Solar DC cable is typically XLPE/XLPO insulated and rated to 90°C, which raises real-world capacity above this PVC baseline — confirm with your installer.
