Sizes and SWG equivalents

The two solid sizes use their own IEC 60228 class 2 values directly. R and current for the SWG-gauge products (3/.029, 7/.029, 7/.036, 7/.044) are the IEC 60228 class 2 values for the nearest equivalent metric cross-section, not a direct measurement of the SWG conductor — see the size note in each row. Current capacity per BS 7671 reference method C, 30°C ambient, PVC insulation, 70°C conductor. Verify the size with a licensed electrician for your installation.
