On a control lead the deciding number is not the 6 A, it is the 62 mV/A/m against your circuit voltage. Take a 2 A coil or contactor on the far end. At 220 V the 5% allowance is 11 V, so 11 × 1000 ÷ (2 × 62) = 88 m of lead before you are out of budget — more than any pendant needs. Run the same 2 A on a 24 V control loop and 5% is 1.2 V: 1.2 × 1000 ÷ (2 × 62) = under 10 m. Same cable, same current, a ninth of the distance. This is a cord for equipment that moves, not fixed building wiring — for that use standard cable, and for buried or impact-prone runs armoured cable. The 6 A per core assumes method C at 30°C with three loaded conductors; bunched in a trunking or coiled on a reel it carries less. Have a licensed electrician confirm the cable for your equipment.

Do I need armoured or standard cable instead?
Flexible cable is for equipment that moves; class 5 stranding takes the bending. Fixed wiring inside a building is standard cable, class 2, which is cheaper for the same copper. Anything buried, crossing a yard, or exposed to a trolley or a shovel needs armoured cable — the steel wire does the protecting, not the PVC.
Why would a lead need four cores at 0.75mm?
Because the count follows the circuit, not the load. Three cores cover line, neutral and earth; the fourth carries a second switched function — a stop line, a strapper, an indicator return. At 6 A per core it is a signal and control cable. For a three-phase power feed at this size, the current, not the core count, is the limit.
Is 0.75mm 4 core enough for a 24 V control circuit?
Only over short runs. Volt drop is current × metres × 62 mV/A/m ÷ 1000, and 5% of 24 V is just 1.2 V. At 2 A that budget is spent in under 10 m. The same 2 A at 220 V would reach 88 m. Low-voltage control loops are sized on volt drop, not on amps.
