Every coil leaves our factory with a QR code printed on the packaging. Scan it and the factory record for that batch opens: brand, cable size, batch number, year of manufacture and conductor. Compare the batch number on screen with the one printed on your coil — if the two do not match, it did not come from us.

Most of this coil leaves the factory to two kinds of buyer: the AC installer who needs a tail from the isolator to the indoor unit, and the shop making up extension boards by the dozen. Two core means line and neutral, and nothing else. The earth has to arrive some other way — the conduit's own earth conductor, or a separate green wire — so this build belongs on circuits where that earth already exists at both ends. If the appliance needs its earth inside the same sheath, the answer is 2.5mm 3 core flexible cable. At 27 A this cable carries about 5.9 kW on a 220 V single-phase supply (220 × 27 ÷ 1000), which covers almost any single point in a house but is nowhere near a submain. One caution on the name: this is 2.5 mm², not 25 mm². The two sound alike across a counter and differ by a factor of ten in copper — the submain size is 25mm 2 core standard cable.
Worked example — how far this cable will reach.
Voltage drop is current × length × the tabulated 18 mV/A/m, divided by 1000. A 10 A appliance point 18 m from the board drops 10 × 18 × 18 ÷ 1000 = 3.24 V, which is 1.5% of 220 V — well inside the 5% BS 7671 allows on a power circuit, 11 V here. Push the same cable to its full 27 A and the drop reaches 11 V at 11 ÷ (27 × 18 ÷ 1000) = 22 m. Past that distance the run length picks the size, not the load — check yours with the voltage drop calculator.
